The game will come with a four-player multiplayer function. These classes are set to be fun-filled, while at the same time providing players with an exceptional gaming experience. The Saber Interactive zombie shooter game is a popular primarily due to its amazing zombie hordes. The playable classes in the game include Slasher, Exterminator, Hellraiser, Gunslinger, Fixer, and Medic. All of the classes are not the same and feature different types of weapons.

Slasher: Melee Focus

The rewards in this class focus on advancing close-quarter attack and damage. In the class, the player gets a taser for delivering electrifying results, and the Slasher is a favorite for warriors who have a great sense of elegance and uniqueness. Players can use their trusty blade in the Slasher class to attack as many enemies as they wish. Additionally, in the Slasher class, there is no limitation to the extent of damage you can cause to your opponents. Players only require being resourceful and tactful in their attacks.

Exterminator

Just like its name, the Exterminator class involves increased fire damage, as the attackers/players are armed highly efficient Molotov cocktails. The most interesting aspect about the class is that the exterminator (player) desires to see all zombies burn. With the right skill-set and a strategic approach, players will most definitely find the class interesting.

Hellraiser

Armed with C4 explosives, the Hellraiser class provides explosive solutions to every hurdle and challenge in the game. The class provides players with the requisite tools for efficient control. With the right manipulation of the classes, players are able to control the masses effectively. Players get as many explosives as they wish so that they can find their way across the masses.

Gunslinger

For players who prefer shooting instantly rather than asking questions first, this class is a perfect playing level for them. Gunslinger boasts of an unlimited arsenal of weaponry damage and ammo that are aimed at mowing down the dead opponents. The weapons have a high attacking power, enabling players to overcome any threat and attack from the opponents.

Fixer

If you are looking for versatility in the World War Z game, then the Fixer class is the ultimate level for you. Featuring a massive explosive ammo case, the class provides the best highlight of war and chaos in the game. There is a collection of ammo-restoring benefits in the class that will enhance the gaming and fighting experience.

Medic

In any war, there are bound to be casualties, and the Medic class enables you to protect your fighting force from suffering any casualties like the dead. The medics have a Stim Pistol and have the capability of healing survivors and controlling the chaos. This is probably the most useful and dependable as it helps in checking at the welfare of the fighting force.

Conclusion

Even though the classes are thrilling and fun-packed, gamers will need to develop the best fighting strategies to keep their fighting capabilities in check. Additionally, a perfect understanding of the game will minimize casualties and damages caused by the opponents.

The Sinking City Packs Quite a Punch! https://acaratus.com/the-sinking-city-packs-quite-a-punch/ https://acaratus.com/the-sinking-city-packs-quite-a-punch/#respond Wed, 20 Feb 2019 08:23:58 +0000 https://acaratus.com/?p=56

For video game lovers out there, The Sinking City is one of the best, new games on the market right now! The game brings us to 1920’s Massachusetts. The fictional city that is used in the game is called Oakmont. Once you turn on the game, you will realize that the whole city has been attacked by a type of dieity that is much like those that were created by H.P. Lovecraft. These fish people, have done a toll on the water ways, and are now about to wreak havoc on the entire city.

There are some citizens of Oakmont that have not left and plan on taking the city back from these fish people. The character that the player uses is a private investigator that decided to stay around. During the game, you will get a chance to see all of the conspiracies that this town now has and you will get to see just how to deal with these fish people.

When you start the game, you will instantly know that it is inspired by Lovecraft and H.R. Giger. The elements of design, the plot, the language, and the characters all have their elements to them. You will love the graphics and will be taken back to the 1920’s with the way they look and speak. For fans of science fiction, this is truly the perfect game for you!

Along with the science fiction aspect, you will also feel as if you are transported into a noir film. As the detective, you will soon discover the ins and outs of the city, and just what is in store for it. Dodging the fish people may be a bit difficult, but once you start moving, you will get the gist of it. The final goal of the game is to solve the crimes as the detective, in a creepy world filled with fish people who have taken over.

There are not a lot of markers in this game that help you to meet the final goal. However, there are clues that you are supposed to collect that help you throughout the game. These clues will help you to solve the crime, learn more about these fish people, and you may even save a dame or two in the meantime.

This game is for those who love a good true crime series or thriller. There is a lot of dialogue in it, so if you’re looking for more of an action game, you should look elsewhere. If you love a good thriller like L.A. Noire, this game is one that you are truly going to love no matter what! You will have to stay on your toes to get all of the clues and you have to pay close attention with the dialogue too. That is where a lot of the important clues come from.

Does this sound like your kind of game? If it does, you can find it wherever you buy your favorite video games! You will be on the edge of your seat as soon as you turn it on!

Resident Evil 2 (2019 Remake) https://acaratus.com/resident-evil-2-2019-remake/ https://acaratus.com/resident-evil-2-2019-remake/#respond Wed, 13 Feb 2019 07:57:33 +0000 https://acaratus.com/?p=50 Since the announcement that the Capcom team would be working on remakes for all of the Resident Evil games, fans have been excitedly waiting for the release of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Nemesis with the new game mechanics.

The story of Resident Evil 2 is a direct sequel to the mansion horror story of Resident Evil. Rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy arrives for his first day on the job in Raccoon City to find a viral outbreak has turned the people (and animals) into flesh-eating creatures that will attack you without provocation. Stumbling upon this scene is Claire Redfield whose brother was part of the original STARS mission into the mansion. Claire has been unable to reach her brother after she heard about the mission and has come to Raccoon City to find him…only to be saved by a rookie police officer and forced to quasi-team up to find their way out of the mayhem.

This remake is great news for fans who have been excitedly wanting to return to Raccoon City. The game has been entirely rebuilt from the ground up. This means we will see a fully rendered Raccoon City as we explore with Claire, Leon, and Ada. We also get the modern mechanics of the Resident Evil series, featuring an over-the-shoulder camera, modernized controls, and gameplay modes from the original game. While they have left the design similar to the original game, Capcom says not to be fooled by the similarities. There are surprises for new and old players alike scattered throughout the game.

The game is going to feature brand new character models for its key characters. Claire gets a younger make-over, riding a 1998 Harley-Davidson Night Train with a license plate reading J2198 – the original Japanese release date for Resident Evil 2. Claire wears jeans and biker boots now, rather than her shorts and biker leggings. She’s now sporting a full utility belt, complete with pistol and holster. Some things didn’t change, however, and Claire still sports her signature biker jacket with the classic “Made In Heaven” embroidery.

Ada Wong’s new character model makes her look even more mysterious than she did in the initial release. Ada sports large sunglasses and a trenchcoat, looking more practical and definitely more like a secret agent than ever before. While she teams up with Leon who sports his classic Raccoon City Police uniform with a much younger face model than his previous incarnations in RE4, RE6 or any of the movies he has been seen in.

Capcom made the decision to hire new voice actors for the game, which has been a point of controversy – mostly because one of the longtime voice actresses announced it via her Twitter, rather than Capcom themselves. The original voice actors, some of whom have portrayed the characters for 21 years, were not invited back for the release. Capcom chose to use unknown voice actors who make their appearance in the game. We haven’t seen a lot of the voice acting yet, but what has been shown has been solid and gives the characters a younger feel than the voice actors who have grown with the original characters.

The Capcom team has confirmed that fan favorite, and infamously difficult, extra modes will return from the original game. The 4th Survivor, which allows players to play as Hunk returns and allows players to escape the city as the Umbrella corp operative with limited ammo and hoards of monsters. Tofu survivor uses the same Hunk scenario…however, you play as literal tofu and are armed only with a knife trying to escape the city.

There is a 30-minute demo out now for PC, PS4, and XBox One. Known as the “1-shot Demo”, you will have 30-minutes to complete puzzles and fight zombies as Leon. It is important to note that you ONLY have 30 minutes to play the Demo. After 30-minutes, you will no longer be able to access the demo, unless you download it on a separate account. Completing the full demo unlocks a previously unreleased Cinematic Trailer for the game.

The game has multiple editions, including a GameStop exclusive collector’s edition. Prepare for your return to Raccoon City quickly! Resident Evil 2 makes it Remake Debut on January 25th.

Best RPG Games of 2019 https://acaratus.com/best-rpg-games-of-2019/ https://acaratus.com/best-rpg-games-of-2019/#respond Thu, 17 Jan 2019 17:17:58 +0000 https://acaratus.com/?p=33 The Top Role Playing Games

Role Playing Games (RPGs) are one of the most popular gaming genres available today. Propelled by captivating storylines and nuanced characters, these games draw players in with the promise of escapism, opportunity to explore creative expression, and bounty of play time. Whether you are interested in fighting, action, racing, strategy, sport, puzzles, shooter or another style, there is definitely an RPG out there for you. Go ahead and delve into the good old standbys in the RPG genre if you have not done so already; the original installments of The Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, Earthbound, and World of Warcraft are not going anywhere anytime soon. However, for those seeking the latest, greatest gaming technologies and storylines on the market, keep reading to discover the best RPG games of 2019.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire

Released May 8, 2018, Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire has been flooded with praise. Shacknews ranks it a 9/10, PCGamesN ranks it a 9/10, and USGamer ranks it a 4.5/5. With such overwhelming support, this game is a must-play. Like the original Pillars of Eternity, this new installment boasts a profuse narrative with elaborate environments and plenty of tactical combat scenes. In this adventure, the lead character must fulfill his destiny and face the god of entropy, who has encroached on the living. Face ancient monsters and travel to other realms on your journey to defeat the god.

Final Fantasy 15

Final Fantasy is deeply imbedded pop culture, since the franchise reaches beyond gaming into CGI films, anime, manga, and novels. First released in 1987, this science fantasy RPG is a pioneer in the industry. With games in the franchise shooting off into tactical, action, multiplayer, racing, shooter, fighting, and rhythm RPGs, there is little that has not been done in the world of Final Fantasy. This part of the series entails a road trip carried out by a photojournalist. Do not be dissuaded by the unusual premise, for you can expect the common elements of a Final Fantasy game. Although Final Fantasy 15 was actually introduced in late 2016, in March of 2018, it came to new platforms with impressive graphic updates.

Griftlands

The premise of Griftlands is that “everything is negotiable,” according to creators at Klei Entertainment. The only real, substantial structural confines presented in this game are economic ones. Pick a character and attempt to make a fortune however you see fit. Sacrifice loyalty and morality if need be. The objective is financial gain. It is up to the player what other standards are upheld in this rules-abolished play space. In addition to the premise, this game’s visual aesthetics that are reminiscent of a comic book set it apart. Although this game is charted to be released in 2018, no official date has been set.

Vampyr

Aren’t vampires so 2010s? The work of producer Nicolas Simon, writer Stephane Beauverger, and composer Olivier Deriviere urges you to reconsider. This highly anticipated game of 2017 was finally released June 5, 2018. What differentiates this vampire game is that the player is the vampire in this psychological thriller. In a post-war London setting, play and fight with supernatural abilities, see citizens react to player decisions, and chose when to save and when to stalk.

Deep Sky Derelicts

For fans of unique fusion games, check out Deep Sky Derelicts. A blend between turn-based card combat and strategic RPG will appeal to those weary of tech gaming. Although charted to be released on September 26, 2018, early access players report good experiences in this indie gaming experiment. Look forward to an interesting art style, some fusion between comic, retro, and futuristic styles that resonates with the new frontiers of alien exploration.

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time

If some of the grueling, grungy vibes listed above are not your style, check out something endearing and delightful, such as Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time. Originally introduced at the tail end of 2017, this is another game that expanded platforms and cleaned some bugs this year. Explore Luna Nova Academy in this Japanese adventure-anime-action-magic-RPG hybrid. With the start of fall semester here, this is a perfect time to get back to class RPG style.

Nantucket

Nothing says indie gaming like an RGP based around classic literature. For literature majors, hobbyist readers, fans of Herman Melville’s Moby Dick, or those who jive for something quirky, give Nantucket a try, if only for the novelty. Released in January of 2018, Nantucket offers players a chance to explore the past age of American whaling much like Melville’s Ishmael. What, you haven’t wanted to pursue your own Moby Dick? Become enthralled by the hunt in this simulated strategy adventure created by Picaresque Studio. Choose your own crew, strategize team skills, control combat scenes, and uncover whether you will ever catch that white whale.

YIIK: A Postmodern RPG

Set in the late 90s, the storyline is based on the true events of Elisa Lam’s—also known as Lam Ho Yi—death. She was found dead in 2013. The last seen footage of her was from a security camera; it captured her gesturing to someone or something offscreen in the hallway, while entering, exiting, re-entering, and hiding within the possibly malfunctioning elevator. A viral upset, this game used that event as a springboard into the supernatural. With chilling real-world parallels, this turn-based, Japanese style game takes a spooky, horror-filled marker in pop culture and transforms it into a more whimsical, wacky game. Action moves, turn combat, epic battles, a team of eight, several dungeons, and an array of puzzles and traps are some of the many features in this indie hit.

Conclusion

Games are no longer rigid, prescribed adventures with A to B to C progression. RPGs deliver a sense of pioneering freedom to players who can carve out unique paths in a game’s universe. Explore true crime. Become a vampire. Work as a photojournalist. Join a pirating economy. Be an alien explorer. Attend a school for witches. Face the god of entropy. Pursue a great white whale. Do these storylines sound appealing?

Acaratus Game Review (In a Nutshell) https://acaratus.com/acaratus-game-review/ https://acaratus.com/acaratus-game-review/#respond Sun, 23 Sep 2018 15:48:26 +0000 https://acaratus.com/?p=6 Interactive game productions are at the rise in the modern society; you will not go a day without a new strategy tagged game in the new release list. Even with this rise where producers are seeking fresh new ways to make themselves more marketable in the gaming realm. Even by shattering the green indie project, there is this title that managed to a notable breakthrough before the whole system was brought down at a very untimely period. Acaratus- it is an amazing title that could be accessed until early April. Its 1.01 update that had the game added some 15 minutes of fame made the game more visible to our eyes before it was again given a blow by the high price it obtained.

The setting

Acaratus, as earlier mentioned is a turn-based strategy game that has a set of the world fighters, together with angry orks or glissading insectoids. The game features old-time tales with steam-powered machinery. It features the theme of slavery that was taking place at the time in your typical steampunk affair.

The game sets off with animated and cinematic game plays the moment you start the game, therefore, giving a different taste compared to the action. The mixing of the scene of the motion pictures and the words over in the game felt problematic since it was difficult to hear the words in the game over the music therein. As much as this was saddening to me, it still got pleased and appreciated the time it took to have something like that in a typical indie budget. The game is broken into several sections of text exchanges, the world map points like the road, town escapement or through smaller side quests. Commencing the game by going straight into the gameplay, you will realize that you need to fight against your enemy in one swift bout.

The battles

In the battles, you have yourself commandeering the battle suit across the map as you battle the foes all over the place. By clicking on your unit, you move them in some distance or several steps which is dependent with their suit type. You again decide to attack blindly in a melee or ranged combat against the enemy until the battlefield is clear.

The Pros and cons

The game though is not without turns and twists; you will find out as you play on that at sometimes you find yourself having small army chunks of metal. In such a situation the battlefields will then begin to seem cluttered as small units block each other’s way accidentally on each other’s paths. Such movement will then display the risks of taking more damage from a blow to the back, here, the decision making becomes somewhat stressing to you. It is only fair to think and describe of such a move as that of a wise chess player piece.

The story mode

There is the story mode that consumes some time, is present in the snowy world and plays out like any other common turn-based strategy game. You are first presented with the game tutorial upon which are presented to you with the world map in which many points are interconnected to each other raging from town to town watchtowers and pathways in which they temporally block you from traveling back to the starting point. This point, each of them has the capability of hosting an event. For instance, quest points may aid you to defeat the enemy on their spot or elsewhere and therefore obtain the reward kept which may be gold or gear. Others like a town feature blacksmith who can restore your health (units) and also allow the mechanics to feature your hotbar also allowing you to choose another fresh new teammate.

Conclusion

To ease up on the several shortcomings, the game gives you the experience to level up through quests and fights. It also gives the real-time gaming experience where some instances are easier, but others prove to be more trivial. The battlefield experience is not that exaggerated since they have the saving grace and the ability to go back to the town to re-strategize in case things don’t work out our way.
In conclusion, the video game Acaratus is quite a good one in the genre, for a small fee you get a game that is worth your money and time. The team seems to have decided the game to compel players to push on for it appeals. Its elements are captivating even though it’s not the best in the market currently.
